How does Hair Removal Lotion work ?

The chemicals contained in hair removal lotions dissolve the hair just below the skin surface. Because they also they strip the outermost layer of the skin, which leaves it smoother and softer. It takes about a month for the skin to replace that layer, so it is not advised to use the lotion more than once a month or you’re risking major skin irritation. Hair removal lotions are specially formulated with certain chemicals that will dissolve your hair. A layer of lotion is applied to the area to be treated. After few minutes, as per manufacturer’s instructions, you rinse the lotion and dissolved hair off, with water. It is important not to leave the lotion on any longer than advised, as it can cause major skin irritation, or even chemical burn. Read the complete instructions carefully, before the application. Because the hair is dissolved below the skin’s surface, it takes it longer to grow back as it would with shaving. The results vary, but on average they last a week. Hair removal lotion contain chemicals, to which your skin might react. It is not unusual, especially if you have sensitive skin, to get a rash or irritation. For that reason it is very important to test a very small patch of your skin, and wait at least one day. If after that time your skin doesn’t react, then you can go ahead and do the full treatment. Make sure you test a very small patch of your skin, and wait at least one day. to see you have an allergic reaction to the hair removal lotion. Wash the hair removal lotion off immediately and discontinue use if you have an adverse reaction.  Never leave the cream on any longer than advised in the guidebook. Never use more frequently than once a month. Always be sure to read and follow the instructions on the product carefully.

According to todays Daily Star A HOTSHOT football star was left in agony after smearing hair removal cream on his tackle.

His balls-up is revealed by former Manchester United ace Brian McClair.

He writes in Manchester United’s magazine: “He applied a hair-remover cream to his nether regions. The cream removed the hair, but also burnt a layer of skin off!

“He is now waiting for test results to confirm whether he will be able to produce children.”

It is important to always read the instructions on any hair removal lotion and carefully follow them.   Usually advice is to test a small area of skin first to check for allergic reaction.

McClair, 46, has a history of airing dressing room secrets in his “Choccy’s diary” column.  Fans have lapped up the news of the hair removal lotion accident.

Mclair also told how United stars played a prank on former player Cristiano Ronaldo, 25, after he was pictured with sweaty armpits.

They stuffed his locker with deodorants, then watched as they tumbled out on the star as he opened it.

Fans are swamping forums trying to discover the identity of the hair-cream star.  Hair removal lotions should be treated with respect as the can contain potent chemicals

A source said: “It could even be someone from a different club, but Brian is staying tight-lipped.”  I wonder if we will ever find out.
